This restaurant feels like "the real thing" - it could have been transported from Europe to Ossining. The food is very good, especially the Swiss specialties. However, on our last visit, the service was uneven to the point of being negligant.

I took my Swiss au pair and my two children there for a birthday dinner. The woman who owns it/waitress must have been in a really grouchy mood or simply does not like children. The steak my son and I shared was quite tasty, with a nice brown gravy and mushrooms and side of vegetables, but everything was very salty. The $40 fondue was nothing special at all. My suggestion is never to go here for a family dinner.

They haven't changed a bit in over 25 years. Solid German/Austrian food with an old world flavor.

Way too expensive for what you get. Their fondue is very boozy. Would be a fun place if you didn't have to take out a second mortgage on your house every time you dined there. I can't understand why fondue places charge so much.
