I took my elderly mother to lunch at the Barnacle. We were dismayed at how dirty the Barnacle appeared but gave it a try. She ordered a cheese hamburger medium rare. After waiting 45mins, the burger was completely burnt with no cheese. We insisted on speaking to a manager. Her tableside manner was unacceptable. We went tonight for dinner, the food was horrendous. I joined this site to write a review. Husband had pork bites as an appetizer, had no flavor, were full of fat. The clams were ok, very sandy. For our meals, I ordered a buger, took one bite and a few bites of french fries, difficult to screw up but they tasted and stunk like old grease. Husband had "smoked" rib eye. It looked & tasted as though the meat was bolied in water, had no flavor!!
